One source of such capital is BPR and BPRS (Rural Bank and Syariah Rural Bank). During these schemes have been developed for BPR/ BPRS already established partnerships with commercial banks in Indonesia in the form of Linkage Program. Here is a brief information about the program linkage. Linkage Program to assist SMEs  Linkage Program is one way of encouraging intermediation by empowering Sector Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Linkage program is an effort to improve the competitiveness of BPR/ BPRS well as the efficiency of the implementation of the Commercial Bank credit scheme (Conventional and Islamic). Linkage program into a mutually beneficial cooperation between commercial banks with BPR/ BPRS in terms of lending to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The goal is to accelerate the achievement of the business plan commercial bank credit to SMEs, in addition intended to overcome the limitations of the network and human resources in the Commercial Bank directly reach micro enterprises in rural areas. Meanwhile, the BPR/ BPRS, linkage programs can overcome the difficulties of working capital required in lending. There are several patterns that can be applied by commercial banks in developing linkage program with BPR/ BPRS, among others, as follows:     RPM Team or Researc an Deveopment  Page 1      Executing  Commercial Bank provides loans to rural banks to be passed on to SMEs. BPR is given the authority to decide which prospective borrowers to get credit facilities and as a consequence the risk is also borne by the BPR.       Joint Financing  In the form of share funding between commercial banks with BPR/ BPRS. For example, to finance a project, commercial banks accounted for 80% and BPR for 20%. If there is a risk, then the responsibility of each based on the share of financing it.      Channeling  BPR/ BPRS just continue borrowing from commercial banks to the SME customers, where the risk remains the responsibility of the Commercial Bank. BPR/ BPRS only help in the search for customers, the distribution, the administration, billing, and coaching. For that BPR/ BPRS will receive fees from the commercial banks as providers of funds.       Asset Buy   BPR/ BPRS already have a loan portfolio that has been financed which are then sold to commercial banks. By itself the risk of also turning to commercial banks. Thus, a brief info about the linkage program to be used by the actors of the development Sector in developing countries with the base through rural bank system, namely mentioned as BPR/ BPRS that will be continually developed and empowered in Indonesia. Hopefully this basic understanding we convey above can be beneficial. Best regards, Teguh Juniarto RPM Team for Research and Development  RPM Team or Researc an Deveopment  Page 2
