It is actually an easy process involving very littlestudy and practice. You must rememer.... not everyone can e hypnotized.  Some people are so wrapped up in their thoughts of every day worries that they can not simply concentrate. Here are the steps to hypnotizing yourself....   1. Sit on a couch in the upright position and close your eyes and your arms at your side or in your lap. Do not move around. Just sit there and relax for a minute.   2. Clear your mind of all thoughts. How do you do this?.... simply imagine a ig Dumpster or a very large metal ox on your mental screen. !hen see it open and put all your thoughts and worries in it one y one.... ills... your lovelife.... prolems.... your children.... your o... everything you can thin# of. !hen close the lid and loc# it$ !hen push it off your mental screen.   %. &ow sit there 'uietly with no thoughts for a minute. (hen you are readyto start... do not forget to tell yourself as you go through each part of the ody that you are ecoming more and more relaxed as you go. )*+ ,+S! !- )*+/S-0 !HS$   . &ow... start with your head.... imagine every part of your head relaxing...start with your eyes.... then go to your ears.... the mouth... all your facial muscles. spend time with each part to ma#e sure it is fully relaxed.   3. &ow go to your nec# and do the same.   4. &ow go to you whole chest and stomach region and start with your heart... slow it down and ma#e ma#e it at peace. /elax all you chest muscles and then your stomach area.   5. &ow relax you arms feeling them going limp. /elax every muscle in your arms one y one including your fingers.    6. &ext go to the groin area and relax all the muscle there.   7. &ow it is time to do your legs.... start with the thighs and wor# you way down to the feet relaxing even every toe.    #y this time you should e a e li$e a ig lump of silly putty... totally rela!ed and and at peace. %ow here comes the fun part. This is where you will get to hypnotize yourself and see if it really wor$s.....   1. Site there with you arms in you lap and or at your side and tell yourself that your right arm is getting very light. t is getting very8 very light. 9eep telling yourself this and feel how it is getting lighter. !ell yourself that it is getting so light that is is staring to raise up off your lap. 0eel it it getting light as you #eep telling yourself this and feel it raising up off you lap. t is getting lighter y the second and it is raising up higher and higher until it is up in the air.   2. *nce you have achieved this and your arm is up in the air you may tell yourself it is getting heavy again and lower it to your lap. )ou will now tell yourself that you will awa#en fully refreshed with energy and a clear mind.%. *pen your eyes and evaluate what you have done. (rite down your experience in your magical ournal. f you did not have success... try again later that day and #eep trying until you are satisfied. f it never wor#s for you.... you may e one of those who cannot e hypnoti:ed.   &ow.... this method can e used on someone else. !ry it on your est friend... except you are the one who will e telling them to relax each part of their ody. !hen do the arm raising stunt with them and see if it wor#s. /ememer.... as you go through each part of the ody with them... tell them they are getting more and more relaxed and sleepy. f this wor#s thenyou can try more difficult things li#e ma#ing them do funny things...   /ememer...
