The places will be distributed to each qualified NF according to each eligible gymnast AA qualifications (15 years-old Gymnasts (WAG) and years-old gymnasts (MAG)), being clear that the places are not nominal. However, the gymnasts who use this place destined to the NF do not have necessarily to have participated in this Juvenile Pan-American Championships. There are 06 places (03 WAG and 03 MAG) that will be distributed according to the Universality of National Olympic Committees (NOC) criteria, the same that define the International Olympic Committee according to the balance of participation of the continents. These places are not additional to the maximum number for the American Continent (09 WAG and 08 MAG). There is a maximum of 1 gymnast per NF and it will be nominative according to the results of the Junior Pan-American Championships Gymnasts who look for a place for Universality of NOC shall participate in the AA in the Junior Pan- American Championships and obtain a minimum standard that will be defined by FIG. About 30% of the total places for gymnasts in the Youth Olympic Games will be from NOC Universality.
