Provost Inclusive Workforce Director STEM Innovation Learning Center Wayne State University K-12 engagement is critical to sustaining and enriching our community s educational ecosystem, fortifying WSU student pipeline, and ensuring WSU reputation as a premier urban research university. Currently, we serve: ~14,500 K-12 students engaged in academic and career outreach programs annually summer programs, experiences, and camps large scale signature STEM program 950+ embedded partner programs inclusive of DPSCD and tri-county regions Through 120+ programs and counting Across all 13 WSU schools and colleges STEM Day Time Intensity single day, multi-week, residential, weeklong day camps, monthly summer, school year, year round Pedagogy immersive, classroom, field trips, enrichment, tutoring, hands-on Faculty Engagement leadership & design, support & mentoring, research-outreach Enrollment/Cost open registration to application low-income scholarships On-Campus & Off-site* SMASH Broad Range of Topics Astronomy Athletics Anatomy Coding Construction Tech Cybersecurity Dance Engineering Entrepreneurship Forensic science Improv Math Minecraft Movie Making Nursing Photography Robotics Social Innovation Theater Tinkering/Making Veterinary Science and on... 14,500 K-12 students through 120+ programs across all 13 WSU schools and colleges, supported by multiple administrative offices Offices of Computing & Information Technology Dean of Students Enrollment Management Inclusive Workforce Dev Marketing and Communications STEM Innovation Learning Center Student Auxiliary Services ++ K-12 Managers & Coordinators ++ Faculty Leaders & Mentors 14,500 K-12 students through 120+ programs across all 13 WSU schools and colleges, supported by multiple administrative offices ww Pilot partnership with InfoReady shows potential in data management, enrollment streamlining, and student tracking.
